Nail of the Week: OPI Skull & Glossbones
11.28.11

Shown above: OPI Skull & Glossbones - 2 coats
Here is the second nail polish I purchased from the Pirates of the Caribbean collection. This is the lightest gray nail polish color that I have ever encountered! It is so light that it almost looks nude. I pretty much love any gray polish, but typically they are of a darker shade. I'm happy to see the light gray hues hitting the shelves! The creamy consistency makes this polish quick and easy to apply. Funny story... I actually applied this nail polish in my car today in a Starbucks parking lot!

This polish can be purchased wherever OPI products are sold.
I purchased mine from my local Ulta Beauty.
Retails for $8.50

Nail of the Week: OPI Merimaid's Tears
11.17.11

Shown above: OPI Mermaid's Tears - 2 coats
This polish was featured in the Pirates of the Caribbean Collection by OPI which was launched in Spring 2011. I absolutely love everything about this nail polish from the color and name to the perfect application. This gorgeous sea foam green hue was completely opaque after two coats!

This shade is definitely one of a kind. The one polish that came the closest, in my collection, was Turquoise & Caicos by Essie. In the photo above the polishes look very similar. However, on the nail, Turquoise & Caicos is a bright blue based polish, while Mermaid's Tears is a true green color. I also picked up another nail polish from this collection that I will swatch in an upcoming nail of the week!

This polish can be purchased wherever OPI products are sold.
